Well….our odometer is now reading 2663 km from our trip thus
far.
Today we left Winchester, Virginia around 8am and arrived in
Gatlinburg, Tennessee around 3pm. It was
a great day of driving and the temperature went from -2C to 12C when we
arrived. Our spot “Tree Tops Resort” is
a nice spot directly in the Smokey Mountains. Jerry is gone to the gym, I'm vegetating, and tomorrow we’ll be out getting our
groceries and checking out the hikes, places where Jerry can run and check on
which event(s) we may go to this week.
Our internet is not very strong here so we could not ‘facetime’
and therefore could only ‘hear’ the grandchildren…not see them….boohoo!! I may have to go to our activities room to
get to do my blog…..we’ll see.
